Give your hair the much-needed Winter Love!

There are many issues faced in winter season regarding hair growth. Dandruff, flakes, dry hair are all results of winter on our hair. Cold weather can make your tresses look dull and damaged.  The change in weather can make the hair care little difficult. Lack of moisture and nourishment makes the hair even harder to manage.

Our ignorance in such weather conditions can make the situation worse which ultimately results in split ends, rough hair, and broken hair. It is an important topic and we shall discuss the ways to keep the hair in good condition during winters here-

1. Oil Massage- Hot oil massages are one of the best things for better hair growth and healthy scalp. Heat some coconut oil and apply this hair oil to the roots of your hair. Massage gently with your fingertips and leave it for some time. Wash it off after some time. In case you are suffering from dry and damaged hair issue than let the oil stay overnight in the hair.

2. Wash less- Frequent washes can make your hair frizzy and hard to manage. Avoid washing your hair at frequent intervals. Wash it once or twice a week so that there is enough oil on the scalp for nourishment.

3. Condition More- When there is too much dryness in the hair, hair tends to break and damage more. Conditioning the hair is the apt solution for the same. Just wash your hair and apply conditioner. Leave it for 10 minutes and wash again.

4. No to hot water-Hot water can make the hair and the scalp dry and rough. It is better to use water that is neither too hot nor too cold. I know it can be difficult to do in the winter season, but this really helps.

5. Keep it natural- Use natural remedies like natural oils, eggs, and henna for better and smooth hair. Also, try to buy shampoo and conditioner with natural extracts that lack harmful chemicals. Natural beauty products are gentle on the body and so these should be widely used.

 These are small things that you can do to maintain shiny and long hair locks. Other important things to keep in mind are-

1. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.

2. Drink milk and other protein drinks.

Avoid drying your hair using a hairdryer.

Drink more water to stay moisturised naturally.
